VOCAL COACHING & TEACHING
In 2005, I graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam as a professional jazz vocalist and vocal coach. After that, I pursued several postgraduate courses and training programs in vocal technique (including CVT – M. Sadolin, EVTS, scat vocals – B. Stoloff) and breath control, further refining my teaching skills.
My teaching method is best described as a collection of “highlights” from various vocal and voice techniques that I have personally found to be highly effective and clear. Over the past 19 years, I have combined these techniques with my own experience as a singer to develop my own teaching approach.
The First Step
You have signed up for a trial lesson. In this session, we will explore your goals, discuss how I can help you, and discover whether we are a good match!
Together we make a plan how to reach your goal. As your coach I stimulate you to practice in a way that fits you (next to your work or study).
Since 2022 I also teach vocals for children from the age of 8 till the age of 12.
I graduated for the one year Post HBO course called Music Education at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam.
In a playful way I teach the children to know and explore their voice and how to use it. Important is the fun aspect of the singing. The repertoire has to connect with the musical interest of the children.
Since March 2023 I also teach the wednesdays vocals at Artiance Alkmaar , the cultural (music, art) centre of the city. www.artiance.nl
